Information collected

SineDay collects account information, profile/birthdate information, timezone/settings information, planner notes, technical/device data needed to operate the service, and payment-related data processed through Stripe.

How information is used

SineDay uses this information to authenticate users, provide the dashboard and premium features, generate personalized SineDay outputs, process subscriptions, support customers, and improve service reliability.

Payment processors and service providers

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Authentication and data infrastructure may use Supabase.

Transactional email services may use Resend.

Affiliate Program information

When a member applies to the SineDay Affiliate Program, SineDay stores their account identifier, public display name, Affiliate Code, accepted terms version and time, internal program status, Stripe connected-account identifier, and non-sensitive setup and capability statuses.

When a paying Premium member deliberately selects an affiliate, SineDay stores the Affiliate Code, attribution, and consent time. SineDay also retains commission, adjustment, payout, invoice, refund, dispute, and transfer metadata needed to operate and audit the program.

Affiliates receive aggregate performance information such as supporter counts and earnings totals. They do not receive supporter names, email addresses, user identifiers, or individual journal information.

When a visitor follows an Affiliate link, SineDay may temporarily store the normalized code and capture time in that browser for up to 30 days so the member can later review and deliberately confirm it. The link does not silently create an attribution.

Affiliate payout and identity information

Stripe collects and handles an affiliate’s bank, identity, tax, payout, and available tax-document information through Stripe-hosted services. SineDay does not store an affiliate’s bank account number, Social Security number, tax identification number, identity-verification documents, or copies of tax forms.

Financial record retention

SineDay retains affiliate attribution and financial ledger records as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, and support. Refunds, disputes, and corrections are recorded as reversals or adjustments rather than deleting financial history.

Data sharing

We do not sell customer personal data.

We only share data with service providers necessary to operate SineDay or where required by law.
